Default Has anyone run multiple window switches?

Just wondering if there is any reason this would not work. There seems to be some doubts about the reliability of rpm based progressive controllers working with the LS1 5V tach signal. As an alternative to an rpm based progressive controller, you could use multiple stages with different window switches to bring in the full shot in steps. That would allow you to run a big shot without creating damaging cylinder pressures at lower rpm. For example, you could have a 100hp stage 1 starting at 3000rpm, then maybe another 100hp stage 2 starting at 4500rpm. Not a real smooth progression but would have the advantage of not fluttering the solenoids.
Can two window switches work off the same tach signal wire?
Just a thought, tell me what you think.

Yes. Try making the second stage MPH based. You can tap into the speed sensor on the pcm and it uses the same wave as the tach. Just run it in 4 cyln. mode like the tach. This way you can get more traction out of the whole and big time juice once your rolling.

I have a RPM activated switch, and if this is true, i would love to use it as drag cags.

Another option (and much simpler IMO) is to use a time delay between stages. RPM activation is virtually useless since in 1st gear you'll get to any given RPM point in no time flat.

I use Digi-Set Delay Timers. Very Accurate devices.
