Formulation

For all you boost/nitrous junkies out there, these are the highest quality head studs you can get for the money. They are rated at 265,000 psi tensile strength, versus ARP's 190,000 and the stock bolts at 110,000. This is a full kit with the best lube on the market, these were custom made for me by the same company that makes all of Katech's studs including their $1,000 C5R's that are only slightly stronger at 275-280,000 psi T/S. The H-11 kits I have are a fraction of the price at $375 shipped and will take over where the ARP's leave off in terms of handling high cylinder pressure/high boost/huge shot of nitrous. For a 300hp shot of nitrous, the ARP heads stubs hold be just fine. I think with a nitrous application of 500hp+ would you need those head studs. I think it would be over kill since the LS1 block really can not handle that much nitrous. I know several engine builders said that the LS1 block limit of nitrous is about 400ish on a 42x size motor.

Formulation

I believe you got the ARP 2000 material, which is around 220,000 psi T/S, still very good and will be fine. I had another company make these and I had 20 sets made instead of 10, that's why the good price and the better material, good luck with your setup let me know how it runs!!!
