Yep and that's one of those situations where some get away with it, and others won't. You running a dry shot as well?

Read your plugs X 10 there is no set value or formula x amount of timing for x size jet. timing recommendations are just that a ball park guide. I have built exact engines down the tolerances. engine a is always different than b one will take more timing and the other will fall off a few degrees before. point is there is no substitution for looking at what the engine is communicating to you each one is its own entity similar to others but unique in its own. save yourself $$$$ and gather your own data from your combo.
READ YOUR PLUGS!

They say the SAFE Rule of thumb is to Pull 2 degrees of timing for every 50 H.P. increase with Nitrous. So on a 100 shot of N20 you should be pulling a minimum of 4 degrees of timing.
Im pulling 5 degrees on a 100 shot with low 91 octane Calif. premium fuel.

" NEVER rely on the computer to pull timing after it senses knock. It's a safety measure not a tuning crutch. Also, once detonation starts, you have to pull more timing to stop it than you would to prevent it from starting. These LSA motors can handle big power but litle detonation."

The best way to protect your engine is to install the Lingenfelter LNC-2000 Timing computer. You can wire the LNC 2000 to pull timing out only when you Arm / Power up your nitrous system.

It is fully adjustable which means you can pull out more timing ( 8 degrees) when you bump up to a 150 shot at a later time.

I have the LNC-2000 , window switch & Fuel pressure safety switch on my car & it works great. ( I also have Fuel & Nitrous Press. Gages on my Cowl to monitor while im Spraying ).

I'd also consider going with a colder plug as well. Like a NGK BR6 or BR7

I would just go ahead and pull timing. If you are going to do it anyways at least run race fuel..I would not personally be comfortable with doing it though...

You can do anything you like, but that is the equivalent of motor Russian roulette IMO.

Running a Colder Spark Plug is very important like HCI 2000 has mentioned.

Its a good idea to run an Air/ Fuel ratio Gage also... so you will know where your at with your Air/Fuel mixture while Spraying your engine with N20.

First off, zex is rated at the flywheel, so your 100 shot is more like an 80, if not 75rwhp shot.
If your on stock plugs don't spray until you get some br6 plugs, or, preferably br8 since you want to spray more then the 100 your spraying now.
I believe a 125 shot is the MAX that Zex say's you can do w/o pulling timing, and that's ONLY IF your running colder plugs.
