Default Kenne Bell Boost-a-Pump?

http://www.kennebell.net/accessories...boostapump.htm

I have a MMS heads/cam car and just intalled the NX wet kit. I was originally thinking about adding an in-line fuel pump for my 150 shot but this product looks very interesting. It can increase the flow of the stock fuel pump up to 50% more at WOT. The amount of increase is controllable. There is a local Z06 with Heads/cam and ATI 13lb blower and he is happey with the boost-a-pump. What do you guys think? Or do you think I should just stick with an in-line fuel pump?

This is the 30amp version and I have it for sale. Since I got the Aeromotive fuel system last year I no longer need it.

Email me for price and questions at bap@tech-ls1.com .

Thanks for the offer guys, but before I buy one from you all. Did anyone have success with one on Heads/cam and NX shots? Or do you think I should just buy a pump?

IMO the stock pump is not a great pump to begin with. On the two Z28s ive had Ive had two crap out on me. I think using a boost a pump would make pump failure more likely. I personally would just go with a new Walbro intank.

The boost-a-pump is a GREAT piece....defintaly a great upgrade if more fuel is needed. A friend of mine (LT1) made 750rwhp with only a 255lph intank pump along with the BaP. He has STOCK lines, STOCK regulator, and STOCK fuel rails. It definalty works. The LT1 stuff is not as good as LS1 stuff either. Very nice.

Heads, cam, spray would be not be a problem with the stock intank and BaP....cheap insurance......however as Al (383L4QSS) already mentioned, I would just put a 255lph in the tank so I would have NO worries.

here's my two cents:

i used a kb boost a pump on my brother's syclone. the in-tank pump then died weeks later. i'm not the only one that has seen this happen.

he bought a warlboro in-tank pump and have had no problems since.

if i were you, id upgrade your in-tank pump....
