i have most of a 5177 kit except the second solenoid and been debating whether to use it like this or find a second noid. the solenoid is a super powershot believe its good up to 175 shot of course i will be only running 100-125 shot is the second solenoid that originally comes with kit for safety measures only? past the solenoid it t's off and plumbs into sides of lid just like a 5177 kit, will this solenoid handle the job alone....can some one please educate me. thanx in advance

Yes you can use the single power shot. The second is there just as a redundant safety feature. I traded my two power shots for a single cheater so I could spray more than a 150. Works great. I personally believe NOS added the second noid to keep the price in the $500 range since the LS1 doesnt need alot of fancy stuff or a fuel noid for a dry kit. Hell...if NOS put together a kit with a single powershot, a 10 lb bottle, and the rest of the basics the kit would go for arround $375. My second one jammed on me during a quick 16 shootout, so I took it out and I've been running only one ever since. It should be fine. Good luck!

actualy both of you guys are running one solenoid, i had read in this forum about running a single cheater solenoid but didnt know if a super powershot would be reliable, thank you gentleman for your input
