Default best way to check solenoid operation?

Guys,
I have a NXL kit with FPSS, WOT switch, window switch, etc. All the safety goodies. What is the best way to check and make sure the solenoids are operating properly? I guess I could jumper the relay and see if they click, or I could activate the system with the bottle closed to check the fuel noids. But whats the right way to do this?
Thanks
Chris

Keep your bottle closed and car off. Then if you can jump them, you will hear them click without dumping fuel or N20 into your intake and motor.

Me, I power it all up and leave the nozzle out and wait for a freind to walk by so can blast em, just kidding!
