stock times with 100 shot

stock times with 100 shot I have an LT1 and was curious what times you guys are running with a basically stock setup and a 100 shot. Preferably a dry kit, but wet is ok too. Intake and exhaust ok. I am presuming high 11s or low 12s @ low 120s. Just curious, because my friend has an 03 cobra and its running 12.2s @ 120 on street tires and he gets walked BAD by a local camaro with the gas. The guy claims it to be a 100 shot, and while not impossible, it just didn't seem probable. Its an A4, and has gears, exhaust,and a lid. They raced multiple times from a roll, and he pulled 3 cars each time from 50 - 120. Does that sound reasonable from a 100 shot to you guys? Thanks!

Re: stock times with 100 shot I guess it's feasable. With an M6 I can see that happening, but with an A4, without aftermarket coverter, I only ran 12.8 at 113. There's a couple other guys with the same mods running the same time in A4's. I don't think that you will see many otherwise stock LS1's or Lt1's running in the low 120mph range with just 100 shot. That's a pretty damn high mph. He's probably got a few things that he's not telling anybody. Maybe a nice TC. Re: stock times with 100 shot i just put my kit on last week and with a 100 shot (TNT) with macs lid pulley and borla i went 11.60 @122.68. my 60 ft's are still in the 1.8's because i still have stock 3.23's and no converter yet...

Re: stock times with 100 shot The car in question is an ls1. I know for a fact he doenst have a torque convertor, but it just seemed a bit fast for a NOS dry kit 100 shot. I figured maybe it was a 150 at least. Maybe those cobras ain't all they're cracked up to be. Oh well, time for more mods.

Ive seen stock LS1's with 100 shot run low 11's and stock LT1's run mid to high 12'sw / 100 shot.
It also depends on the nitrous kit. TNT kits flow real well! 100 shot TNT is worth at least 100 RWHP.

Re: stock times with 100 shot NOS dry kit (100 shot) drag radials and nothing else. 12.3x 111 with a 1.85 60ft. Everything else was totally stock down to paper air filter.
On a 150 wet shot went 11.8x 115 mph with 1.78 60ft. 120ish seems real high mph for a4 with stock convertor and a 100 shot,just my opinion. <img border="0" alt="[burn out]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_burnout.gif" />

Re: stock times with 100 shot I can see a low 12 with a 100 shot, hell I ran a 13.01 @108 60' 1.99 on radials, 6M, slippin clutch (bad slave). if it wasn't for the bad slave I would have ran a 12.9-8 that pass. I dyno #'s are 320hp, 340 ft lbs with lid and bullet muffler. I'd expect low 12's on a 100 shot.

Re: stock times with 100 shot with MTI lid, borla cat-back, and all free mods on 245/50/16 nittos spraying of the line (auto) and 100 shot dry I went 11.71 @119 mph that same day on motor best run was 13.10 @ 108 mph.
I have lots of buddies that have lt-1's that have more bolt-ons that I had before and with 100 shot their best runs avg 12.4@ 112mph there you see the difference between the LT1 and LS1 on 100 shot of pure power cheap power adder!!!
