MSD 8625 Timing Twister
I purchased a MSD timing twister used and the instructions I have aren't really clear on where to hook everything up. I thought someone who has this box could fill me in on where they hooked theirs up. I understand the connectors are plug and play. Im going to hook up the switched power to the fuse box and ground it near there. Just need to know where to connect the blue and gray wires at. Thanks in advance

The gray wire would be used if you wanted to hook up a Tach if you did not already have one.
The blue wire will go to the output side of your activation switch, so that it receives 12 volt power when the nitrous is being used so that it can pull the timing.

Black Wire-Ground
Blue Wire-Goes to the the on side of your nitrous switch so that when you turn on the nitrous it pulls the timing.
Red Wire- Needs to be hooked to a switched 12 volt. This gave me problems at first because i had it hooked to switched 12v from fuse box but it wasnt a constant 12v. Which means when cranking it cuts power going to the msd box and wont allow the car to start. It will just crank over. I found that the BATT port on the fuse block on the drivers side of the dash has 12v while cranking so i used a flat connector and plugged it in there.
Gray Wire I didnt hook this up. I think its just a tach output wire. Used for aftermarket tach or boost retard.
