Default ditched the NOS bottle "wontheatshit" warmer

i ditched that peice of crap...im not getting enough pressure, i hear with the dry shot to get the best performance i need to be up over 1000 psi. how do i maintain that? with the nos bottlewarmer and i also used a bottle blanket at times over the top of it to seal it in, and it would still stay at around 860 psi.

will the nx bottle warmer get me above 1000 psi?
Thanks for any advice/help

all you most likely need is a different means of controlling the temperature/pressure. the stock 85 degree stats turn the heater off too soon with the nos heater.

some 95 degree stats would do the trick, or buy the pressure switch from nx, or dynotune.

i have a pair of the 95 degree stats, if you want to give them a shot. $20

I had the same problem. I eliminated the thermo and now it works great, I just have to manually control it.

Get a pressure switch from either Dyno Tune or Cold Fusion.

no need for a new bottle heater, remove that NOS t-stat, connect the wires directly together and just watch your pressure more closly. I had the same problem and that was my solution
The NX heater is nice, heats to 1050 and shuts off. But it is ALOT slower in heating a bottle than my old NOS one was. Maybe its the different bottles .. .

nos = 300 watts
nx = 240 watts.

the nos one is a lot stronger.

I hae run heaters without a pressure/temperature sensor... but i NEVER reccomend it to somebody else, as it can be dangerous if not paying attention.
