Default 11.5:1 + nitrous on 93 octane ?

Cant seem to get a strait answer on this. New to nitrous and just need to know if im gonna have to run race fuel to spray. Car is a daily driver so it would kinda be a pain in the neck but if thats what it needs then it is what it is. Bottom is forged, rings are gapped for nitrous. TEA/tfs 225's have the nitrous exhaust ports, 59cc chambers, pistons .010 out the hole, .052 gasket. Airmotive 340 pump. Spraying 200 shot through 102 plate kit. Car is making 500whp n/a. Let me know if im missing any relevant info. I do appreciate any help.

Well i'm running a combo very similar to yours with 11.5:1 comression and a 100 shot. 93 octane works just fine for me at this level. Was gonna go with a 150 shot, but figured it was a bit much with the 4.10 gear

I think you'll be fine on 93, but if not, Nitrous Outlet makes a dedicated fuel cell that bolts right in without having to do any modifications. It goes right where the fuse box.

I would like to run a dedicated fuel system but cant afford one right now. Im having a hard enough time swinging the n2o system with all the accessories. Ive been told 10.8 and up needs race fuel added, then ive heard 11.5 is fine by a couple people. Just want to make sure. Sam Miller tuned the car, waiting to hear back from him on what he thinks.

You're fine, but make sure you have enough timing pulled.

My tuner says I will be easily good for a 150 shot with 11.5:1 on 93. Also told that if I want to move up to a 200-250 shot it would be in my best interest to put a stand alone fuel system in....

we ran a 12:1 346 cube motor with "150" shot on it with straight 93 off the rail. Didnt have any problems, though we did run a NGK B9EFS plug.

initially just took a little longer to warm up, but i just added some more fuel for cold start. This is BoostedCatfish's vette BTW

I'm going to be adding a plate kit here soon and will be looking to spray a 150 shot. Sounds like those plugs would be good for me, as I'm at 11.5:1 compression on my 346.

we buy these plugs by the case, all 3 cars in our camp run them. walked out to the shop and snapped a pic of what we use for easy reference.

I'll also add, that NA with some TR6 plugs his car barely made any more power over the -9's, so i wouldnt worry too much about power loss, however they foul out very easy if not warmed up properly.
