Default Estimated Cost?

Looking to spray in the future. Just want to get my mind wrapped around how much it might cost to spray and not blow my engine.

I am open to any forging that needs to be done as well.

376 LS3 with a GM Hot cam 219/228 @112

Has injectors that come with LS3 (44# or 42#)

What would I need to upgrade?
Overall, how much would I spend to effectively be able to run nitrous say... 50% of the time?

Thanks for any responses.

Well how much nitrous you looking to spray? You want a plate or direct port? What type of fuel you going to run? Give everyone as much info as you can.

I would definitely want a plate system. It would be a wet shot. If I could I would like to continue running 93 octane pump gas (car is my daily driver). I want to spray at least a 75 shot eventually a 150 shot. But I would also like to prep the motor before doing it.

You could spray a 150 on that LS3 no problem. Not sure what you have for a fuel pump, so you might need to look at that as well. The injectors should hold. Figure a good new nitrous kit with all the accessesories will run around a grand, then a tune, plugs, maybe fuel pump, etc...

Fuel pump upgrade will be a must. You could also run a stand alone fuel system, then you would not need to upgrade your pump and you could run race fuel when spraying.

I'm thinking for a daily it would be nice to have a 100 shot lol. Any suggestions for what kind of fuel pump would be best for a 100-150 shot?

Racetronix with Hotwire kit should be fine for what you're wanting to do.

Our plate systems run around 720$ without forum discount that you get. Plus you'll want a heater and a window switch, main thing is you'll need to have enough fuel pump, 75-150 hp worth of nitrous doesn't put a tremendous strain on the pump in most normal applications, do you know what your pump is rated to? You can run 93 pump no problem with your setup, the key to pump gas is having enough timing pulled. When you run race fuel you don't have to pull as much timing.

If you want to let me know a list of everything you need I can email you a price quote. I'm also here for tech help.

Thanks a lot Garrett. I would also like to know the forum discount! But I believe it is a stock fuel pump that came with the LS1.
