Default NOS fitting leak - what to use?

I've heard not to use teflon.

This is for the purge fitting.

The fitting is the small allen screw on the far left on this pic:

Most of the vendors will tell you to use thread locker. i used thread locker on mine, no leaks.

red locktite and its never gonna come apart again lol... i use one pass of teflon tape starting halfway up the fitting and its always sealed perfect for me, its prolly a big no no but i've always used teflon and never had anything get clogged sloppy mech FTW! only thing is when changing fittings i always check the threads of the solenoid and scrape out any of the teflon tape that got left in there.

I use blue loctite and never have a problem getting a fitting apart when I need to.

Blue or red loctite works greats! You are correct on the teflon tape. Don't want to use that.
