Another nitrous build
Posted this same thing over on the vette forums but I figured I'd post over here too. I plan to document everything as I go.
Finally pieced together all my parts for my nitrous build. Most parts in the system are from N20 outlet (great guys over there). I bought my 98 coupe last fall from a guy in GA and drove her home with a buddy. I've gone through the car and fixed all the little issues and pulled off the old nitrous setup. Moving forward now were planing to make this setup look as stock as possible. Previous owner of this car went 6.40 @ 109mph in the 1/8th mile on a 175 hit, we're looking to improve that number on a smaller shot and then hopefully surpass that. Well start on a baby 100 hit and gradually keep upping pill sizes and tuning in the nitrous setup until were comfortably on a 300 hit. Weathers finally warming up here in the north tundra, lol. Plan is to start by pulling the dash and removing the passenger airbag as that's where we're mounting the nitrous controller. It'll take some time to do it the way I want but I'll post pics as we gradually get things together. Cars a 98 A4 with a LS1 based forged 347 with TEA 59cc 706 heads and a LG G6X3 cam. Here's the parts list going in:
- TPIS 90mm TB
- TPIS 90mm LS6 intake ported by LS2 port works with nitrous outlet moneymaker setup
- nitrous outlet 6 AN wet kit with 20lb bottle
- nitrous outlet standalone fuel system
- nitrous outlet purge
- nitrous outlet 6AN filter
- nitrous outlet AN blow down kit
- nitrous outlet switch panel
- nitrous outlet remote bottle opener
- nitrous outlet bottle heater
- NX jet booklet
- LPE LNC-2000 2 step/timing retard
- LPE NCC-001 nitrous controller
- LPE NCC-001 wire harness
- LPE diodes
- LPE fuel pressure sensor
- LPE nitrous pressure sensor
- Leash electronics nitrous board
