Default Did I get ripped off?

What do you guys think? Did I get boned on this or what? I know I should've researched it first, but it seemed like a decent price for a bottle heater.

not a bad deal, not great either.

A heater is a heater, and if you dont want pressure controled, but want a thermostat, then the NOS one is good.

What do they normally cost? Please forgive my nitrous ignorance. I'm still new to the N20 game.

seems to be pretty good
most auto heaters run for 220, or somewhere around there.

I'll put it on the line here. I wasn't completely sure that it was an automatic heater.
I kind of bought it blindly. So it is for sure automatic? From Slow's post, it sounds like it's a temperature regulated system instead of pressure regulated. Either way, that's fine by me.

the NOS one is temp controled, it has 2 thermostats in series that keep the temp constant. it normally sells for around $120 i think, i just sold my used one for $75 w/ out wiring, just relay, pad, and thermostats

The NX one is pressure controled, and costs about $200

Thanks Ryan. I looked for months on the board here for a used heater to no avail. Oh well, providing the ebay seller ships everything and it's in working order, I saved $4.

I looked everywhere for this kit for a price reference. I couldn't find it.

http://www.lightningmotorsports.com/nos_accessories.htm

here is one place i found it, $125 plus shipping, so you saved a few more than $4.

your right, the used ones sell very quick, mine was "borrowed" by a friend, and installed in his car, so i was like, "im gonna sell it " him "how much" me "75" him "sure"

Thanks for the link bro. I'm always suspicious of ebay items. Hopefully I get everything I need with it. The picture looked like the kit was complete.

the pics shows everything you will need, other than maybe a butt connector or 2, or ring terminal to connect some wires together. (small misc items, that i dont think the kit comes with when new)

I have a bunch of electrical crap (connectors) in my garage. This is pretty funny to me. I'm a chemical engineer and I sound like a total idiot!

To bad we couldn't have figured that out earlier. One of us could've bought it for $40 or something.
I'm sure it'll be fine. I needed one bad. The track opens soon and I have been spraying with the bottle ice cold. I can't wait to feel the hit with 1000psi.
