Nitrous backfire

My buddies car spit about a 2ft flame with nitrous backfire but didn't hurt a thing curious if anyone else had it happen to them and did it mess anything up pics would be cool

It threw it out of a full catback exhaust? What color was the flame? Are you sure the nitrous was firing and not just fuel?

All he had to replace was the lid that was it is that normal or is he lucky

Man we checked everything everything was good I think this is called luck or magic were still scratching our heads and looking at stuff to c what it messed up but still runs fine
