I won NX...Now what
Ok, I won the GM EFI Signle Stage NX kit at a car show. I plan on using it, but I want it done properly and safely. I have juststarted reading the nirtous part of this forum and have been gathering ideas and questions. I plan on buying the GenX-2 kit and the MSD Window switch. Thats basically all I know right now. So questions:
1)I know have to run colder plugs. -8s i believe, two steps colder. Can I only run these when I use nitrous? What wil happen to these plugs if I put them in but only spray like once a month? (assuming i dont get addicted)
2) In a recent post, someone talked about their dip stick popping up, possibly due to a PCV. What is a PCV? And how can this be prevented when running nitrous?
3) I just have borla exhaust and a whisper lid for engine mods, so the guy from NX said i dont need any ls1edit to mess with my A/F.
4) Is there anything else I need or need to do other than purchase the GenX-2 kit, MSD window switch (its a 6spd) and colder plugs without risking harm to my engine. I want to minimize any chance of damage.

How big of a shot are you going to run? If it is a 100~150 the NGK TR6s would work just fine. Also I would reccomend the MSD window switch. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

The colder plugs haven't affected my NA driving. I use NGK TR6s. You need a window switch (with the pills) and a WOT or micro switch would also help.
A bottle heater is nice, since the bottle will get pretty cold after a couple of runs. Purges are cool, but I'd put them at the bottom of you priority list.
Tuning isn't necessary with a 100 shot. However, if you decide to do it, it can't hurt. Either way is fine.

Thanks for the advice. It is 50-150 shot. I plan on using the 50 shot first, for quite some time, then once everything is working correctly and I have the hang of it, ill turn it up to 75 then 100 and I don't plan on going over 100. All I am looking to do is run high 11s, mid 11s. But ill need a 12 bolt and BFG Drag Comp Radials to get the power down.
