I was thinking about just going with GM gaskets but I have heard of people saying they have blown GM's gaskets. I have also heard of people having problems with aftermarket ones also so whose has the least problems? GM or aftermarket? Would like to see what most of you nitroused H/C guys use.

Also is it worth the $150-200 for ARP bolts? I know you can always reuse them but if I went with GM do you think I will have any problems?

arp studs and cometics, haven't had any problems. i lifted a head with arp bolts and gm gaskets.

ARP head studs and FelPro 0.072" gaskets. Now problems running a 300hp shot <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I am gonna go with cometics and gm bolts with my GTP's and see how it goes.

LS1290 thats crazy, a 300 shot <img border="0" alt="[worship]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" /> This isnt on a stock bottom end is it? If so your nuts hahaah

Also what numbers you guys putting out with H/C and 100 or 150 shot?

 

Any other comments? I'll spend the extra $$$ if it is really needed.

 

ARP 12 point studs and Cometic gaskets here, no probs. Why bother to put in GM bolts? I stretched the GM bolts with a 100 shot. Just go with ARP studs and rest easy!!!
