Default car bogs then hauls *** on a 200 shot

I have a NX rail style direct port kit on my 99 camaro. I have changed the plugs and re-gapped them as i thought the gap was too big and it was blowing out the spark but that didnt fix the problem. The kit is jetted for a 200 shot and when i activate the nitrous the car will bog for a second then comes right to life. I'm at a lose here. Im starting to think that maybe its a rich spike and some how the fuel is gettin there before the nitrous causing the car to bog. Then when the nitrous makes it in there it leans it back out and runs great. Anyone else have this problem and have any suggestions how it fix it, thanks.

Does it do this every time? Or only on the first run? If you fire your nitrous and have the bog, then a minute later you fire it again do you still have the bog?

Remember your nitrous is at 900+ psi (gas) and fuel is at 50+ psi (liquid). So nitrous will move faster.

Do you purge your nitrous before using? If you don't have a purge you should consider getting one.

Where I'm going is if it only happens the first time then it could be air in the line and you could be having a rich spike like you said.

If it is happening every time it could be a timing issue.

Your best bet is to contact NX for their input.

Good luck.

Seems to do it everytime.

Using a msd to pull timing.

What pressure are you running the nitrous at. It may be the nitrous solenoid not opening. Have you test fired the system.

Could very well be this. We recommend running 1050psi bottle pressure. Call me OP and we will see what we can figure out.

Do you have a high flow bottle valve? Nitrous pressure gauge?

What's your fuel pressure doing? Are you on a return style system? I ran a shot that big years ago and the return style system fixed a bog I was having.

Whatever you do, make sure you do a systematic troubleshoot before throwing parts at the car
