I don't mean to be rude but just use the search button sometimes, might find you question answered really fast. Its ideal to pull 2* of timing for every 50hp. People have shot a 100 shot with out pulling timing but your taking a risk

only been running spray for a year or so but il distill all my research/and advice from proffessionals and experts here, be safe pull the timing, 250bucks for a box is cheap insurance for any engine, like stated 2 degrees for every 50hp shot is what is reccomended. LNC2000 ftw.
even if u get away without pulling at 100shot, u will probly wanna go bigger in time and need to anyways.

I ran 150 shot on my 04 Zo6 without pulling any timing other than what the factory computer would pull if it saw detination. However running a wet shot and gapping the plugs colder i dont think you would need to pull the timing with a tune. For What its worth I did run about 10 20lbs bottles through it and the car was running just fine when i sold it. I did change the oil after every weekend at the track and only ran the nitrous with 104 octane gas.

i was told the computer will only pull once it senses detonation, kinda like trying to throw ur seatbelt on after u hit a pole. i didnt wanna risk it. might be able to find a used timing box on ebay, or 250 for the LNC

Better to pull the timing and tune back into it. On a stock timing, stockish motor, that might be okay on 93 octane, but I would pull the timing and read the plugs, and see how much timing it will take, that way you don't hurt anything.

4*

depends on the compression of the motor. a 9.5:1 motor running 26* of timing might not even need timing pulled out as compared to a motor with 11.0:1 compression running the same amount of timing.

too many variables. See if your tuner will go to the track with you and just pull 3-4 degrees and +/- back in based on trap speed

Yep. It's different with every build, and there is so many variables that go into it OP.

For a 100 shot you should be able to run 104 on your stock tune without issue. That being said your tuner would know how aggressive your current tune is and safety is always you best bet. Better to run .2 slower then swap an engine due to holes in the pistons!

My son runs 19* of timing with a stock motor and a 100 shot and I run 22* with my mods and I run 125 shot. Both cars were tuned by a reputable tuner on a dyno.
