Nitrous/Texas Giant guys... what compression?
I've been running this cam in my 402 since 2006 with good luck. I've ran it NA and with nitrous along with a stalled auto and a T56. It usually goes high 10's NA and 9.8-10.0 on a 200 jet at 3650#'s.
My motor has always been about 11:1, currently its 11.2:1... and I honestly forget what my dynamic compression is. I might be pulling the heads here soon and doing lifters and gaskets, curious if I should up the compression. I'm thinking I'd like to be more like 12-12.5:1, but I know its really just about dynamic.
I'm running a nitrous outlet 90mm plate and I have a standalone system with c16 in it along with BP 93 octane in the stock tank. This is a street car and I want to keep it on 93 octane (NA).
Curious what others are doing with this cam... thanks in advance. Trying to get the car ready for Hot Rod Drag Week, so I'll need to figure this out quick if I want to change things up.
Thanks!

Brandon, thanks for the feedback. I've talked to you guys a few times over the years about my setup. I'm not really looking for extra power, just figured if I can optimize my setup a little more while I have the heads off, then I would. This setup was kinda "thrown together" back in the day and has done me well, but I've always wondered if I'm leaving much on the table with lower compression. I really need to calculate my dynamic compression, what should I target?
