Default plate vs direct port intake rescriction

Im not sure how much logic there is to this but does my 102 plate system with 175 shot displace enough air in the intake to cause a flow restriction? I know my intake is already a huge rescriction since my heads flow over 350 and I think a fast 102 flows somewhere around 310? Would a direct port reduce the air displacement from the nitrous inside the intake plenum enough to be benificial with 175 shot? Does anybody know how many cfm of nitrous comes out of different size nitrous jets. I'm guessing not enough to make a difference but I was just curious.

The plate doesn't cause any restriction, it matches your intake and TB size...or maybe I'm misunderstanding your question?

OK thanks. My dyno results just didn't look right. When it first hits at 3500 rpm I gain 180 ft/lb and then it tappers off at a steady rate until only a 50 ft/lb gain at 6500. When I was running my little 348 my chart was a pretty even gain across the board. Does this sound normal? Im running 22 degrees timing and my the timing mark on my plugs looks good. No breaking up or anything like that just seems to flatten off on the bottle more than I expected. cam is 251/255 112ls 108icl I shift it at 6800 NA and 6400 on the bottle.

Not the plate itself but the actual nitrous displacing the space in the intake. I know that my intake flows a lot less than my heads do. I guess if you have the nitrous on you really dont need the air as much anyway.

Fuel is the one taking up air space in a wet kit.....From what I understand and have learned on my car.
