So you want heads, cam, forged internals and other miscellaneous for no more than $2500?

For $2500 you are going to budget your options. A good set of completed heads alone will range from $1000-$2500 and now you will need a cam, springs, and accessories, plus forged pistons and rods. I went with Thompson Motorsports for my forged LQ9 and am very happy with the purchase. I'd start by giving them a call.

That will obviously help, but realize the parts alone from a reputable source are going to be in that range after its all said and done. Then there's tuning as well

For $2,500? Cam, stock heads, stock bottom end, long-tube headers, good fuel and nitrous system and tune. And it will be TIGHT on that budget.
