50 shot on ls3 with 26* of timing... I'm having issues with getting my "timing tuner in a box" to work on my car. I'm going to the race track and don't have the time nor the coin to buy a new controller before this weekend. The car is a cam, headers, 92mm throttle body. The car is currently tuned with 26* of timing. I'd like to spray at least something to get anything extra I can. Curious if running a 50 shot on the car would be ok or advised against completely.

Thanks for the reply. My system is a aero motive 340 with stock lines to stock ls3 (42lb) injectors.) was thinking if mixing 50/50 100 octane and 93 for insurance.

We recommend pulling 2* per 50hp from factory timing. With the timing already advanced, I would be careful spraying on that. Better to be safe and tune back into it.

I don't really feel like buying the credits for my buddies hp tuner. I wish I had the coin to have an lnc overnighted. I think what's going on his my timing tuner box doesn't like the signal from the 24-58x converter box in my car.

Sorry, that didn't come off right. What I meant by not wanting to spend the $100 on credits is because I've already paid my tuner the coin to unlock my ecu. But I wasn't able to meet up with him to pull the timing out for the weekend. I guess we'll see how this weekend goes if I say to hell with it and pay someone at the track to unlock it and pull some timing. Thanks for all the replies guys.
