Went to the track today for a little grudge racing and to test out the nitrous on the track along with the Spec stage 3. Clutch seemed to hold great, and caught very nicely when shifting. My best NA run with boltons was 13.3 @ 109. It was extremely humid and probably 88 degrees out. The track sucked for the most part and any time I sprayed in first, I lost traction pretty bad. My best run came when I heated up the tires really good and sprayed in 1st. I managed a pathetic 12.4 @ 117. I was quite disappointed, since my car has gone 12.84 NA. What times should I look for with the 100 shot? Anyone wanna venture a guess? TIA for the input.

 

you put down almost my same numbers on the dyno..i was just a few less(325/340). my best run is a 12.9 at 109.8(auto)...i have lid/cutout/FTRA/ported TB....i just added the NX kit to my car and need to get out and get some times as well. i think ill try the 100 shot. when it engages how does it hit? sorry its not advice like you asked for but i was just wondering. btw that trap speed is pretty good. i bet with less humidity you will run about a 12.0. thats my goal. i know ill need to hook hard though

 

Keep me posted on the times. Well, it hits hard enough to spin like crazy in first, and halfway through second. I'm going to hit 11s on the 100 shot...or break something trying. I might try slicks next.

 

Do you have a aftermarket rear yet?If not dont bother trying slicks.I snapped a axel with a set of mt street ET's.your mph shows that once you get traction you will be in the 11's.I plan on getting mine down to a 11.0-10.9 on engine.Then I'm going with a tnt F2 wet kit to get a low 9second pass by the end of the season.Get a good rear if you dont already and a set of slicks, you will be in the 11's

 

Are you a 6 speed or auto? What was your 60'? It seems like you have the MPH but no the ET. I think you could use some traction...some tires or suspension mods.

yea i dont know why i said 12.0...i want 11.99s or better just to say i ran an 11 second pass...you will get the same. what tires were you running and what was the 60ft? i have nittos but im afraid they wont hold at all

 

I also went 12.84 on motor in my car. Strapped on a TNT kit 100 shot and am going 11.80's all day. 11.80 as my best on street tires @ 120.5 mph.

 

Same here! I ran 13 flat @ 108 before the bottle and my best so far is a 12.6 @ 116 on a bad clutch. RAM clutch goes in in a couple weeks, then we'll see what I can do. Like you I am expecting real low 12's and am hoping for an 11.99 and to get kicked out of the track! I run 135 jets now and will step up to 150 jets @ the track to try and break into the 11's.
