Default 150 shot trans am

I have a 02 trans am and have a cam, 3600 yank stall, headers, slicks!! The car went a 12.24 on motor what do y'all think I will run on a 150 shot? And every where I look it said a 150 is perfectly fine is that true?

If it's tuned for and has the proper accessories then yes it should be fine. If you hook you might pull a 10.9 possibly

I need some nitrous in my life. Are you running a wet or dry kit?

Wet is pretty simple to install, and it works fine. Dry works great also but alot more tuning goes into it because the injectors have to be told to put more fuel in at WOT.

Let me know if you have any questions or need a recommendation!

Like he said, I think a 10.9x could be in sight with 150 shot. The car will need some timing pulled (5-6 degrees from stock) and colder plugs to run nitrous safely. 150 shot is no issue for the LS based motors.

I think you need to figure it out on motor first. 12.2 sounds a little weak for a cammed car. There's bolt on cars running that.

My car goes 12.0 on motor and 9.8 on a 67 jet lol not even joking either

But it should go in the 10 ' s for sure no problem. Unless traction becomes an issue

I hope my car does as good as yours. On a 150 shot next year. I'll be happy with a 10.9

Stock suspension besides lca and panhard. No major weight reduction but have a hardtop formula. Should be getting adjustable shocks this winter and doing some minor weight reduction.

I agree with everyone above, if it can put it all to the ground, you could easily hit the 10's.
