Default What fuel system 408 150 shot.

I've got a 408 going in my trans am. I've been playing with the idea of putting a wet kit on it and spraying a 150 shot. I've never messed with nitrous but I've been reading a lot lately. Right now I've got a hot wire kit and a racetronix pump but I'm assuming it won't keep up. What would be a good pump to go with to be safe. The engine is set up for max effort 251/259 cam prc 247 etc.

Motor is yet to be dyno'd, its actually not been started yet. I expect low to mid 5xx.

You'll likely be out of fuel on the 150. My advise would be to grab one of our dedicated fuel systems and leave yourself plenty of room to grow. Plus you get the added benefit of enriching with race gas when you're on the bottle.

The stand alone is a great set up with no extra worries about the fuel rail supply, pump gas, etc.
Having high octane race gas in the stand alone when you are spraying is one less thing to worry about. The nitrous outlet stand alone kits are high quality units.

This is your best bet.

http://www.nitrousexpress.com/15004-...-methanol.html

Takes care of all the fuel for the nitrous system. So all you need to worry about is the pump for the motor itself.

If that doesn't interest you, then you will need to figure in an extra 12-13 gph for 150-200HP worth of nitrous, to run the same pump for both the nitrous and the motor. (In-tank.)

Let me know if you have anymore questions pal!
