HCI+ 150 Track Results

Made a trip out to Famoso Raceway near Bakersfield CA. Weather was 80* and I'm sure the DA was 2000+ like usual.

My best NA pass was 12.2 @ 117mph. I have a 6speed on 17" 555r drag radials so I wasn't expecting to break any records ET wise but more focused on trap speed. I was slipping the clutch at around 3500rpms off the line in effort to not break the rear.

.040 gaskets 11.1:1 compression

3.90 gears
Racetronix 255 Pump with hotwire
Water injection
Dynotune nozzle wet kit
1000psi bottle pressure
91 pump gas

Best 60' NA was 1.89
Best 60" on nitrous was 1.80

ET Nitrous: 11.3
MPH nitrous: 128
Window switch set from 4k-6300

Nitrous passes were all within .10 of each other... 11.2, 11.3, 11.3 and between 127-128mph. Very happy with the mph given the shitty DA. Once I put a built rear, I will be able to let it rip out of the hole and ET like I should.

Nice runs man, knocking on tens it looks like.

Couple questions on your setup...

- Are you spraying out of the hole?

- Do you just run it off of a window switch? No controllers pulling timing?

Very near to the 10's there. I would say to go buy a better tire to get you there, but I don't think that 10-bolt agrees with my philosophy. lol

That's moving!! Plus you're leaving a lot in the 60 ft.

What was the DA? Do you have a roll bar and all the SFI gear?
I was planning on going but didn't want to pay $100 just to get booted.

No roll bar or any special equipment. I was lucky that they didnt notice... And yeah Im leaving a good .5 seconds in ET because of my shitty 60'... But until I swap out the rear ill have to live with it. But i do have an upgraded 10 bolt with:

Girdle cover
Studded bearings
Solid pinion spacer
Moser axles
Motove orange box gears

The gears have howled since day one of install so i just live with it. But the only thing that has broken is the factory Torsen... I swapped in another one and its been holding.
