What size is the Fuel feed line to the solenoid on the F1 kit? Is it -4 or -6? I know the fittings on the lines to the power ring are one size smaller. I thought these were -4 an fittings but not sure. Are they -3 an?
Actually I remember hearing someone say that TNT now uses a -6 AN N2O feed. I didn't think that there was such a thing as -2 AN either but how come my -3AN wrench doesn't fit the hose ends? I hate scratching them up with a regular wrench.

Can you guys tell me what the AN and the number ( -4AN) means? I know it's a particular size, any relation to the metric/U.S. system? You need special tools for this?

AN stands for Army/Navy, there a 37* flare I guess only the armed services primarily used them back in the day. I don't have a AN-SAE chart handy but you can use regular SAE wrenches on them. It is not reccomended though because it's easy to over tighten the fittings with a regular wrench, plus regular wreches scrach up the fittings pretty good.
I bought mine from Summit and Jeg's. Sets are $40-70 but, I just purchased the wrenches I needed seperatly for about $8 a piece. They're a good investment, until you forget them under the hood and drive off like I did.
BTW: I forgot to tell you above that the AN system always uses 16 as a common denomintor, so a -4AN hose is 4/16" or 1/4".
