Default Lingenfelter RPM-003 programming issue

I have the rpm-003 window switch and I'm trying to set the sliding scale voltage for the purple wire analog input to arm at full throttle off tps voltage. When I get the rpm 003 into programming mode and do two sweeps of the throttle to establish voltage the box gives me a steady red light. Instructions cover a green light being a successful programming attempt, or a flashing red light at a unsuccessful or error but nothing on the solid red light. If anyone can help with this I'd be much obliged. Thanks in advance.

So LPE has awesome customer service in case anyone is wondering. Apparantly I have a old set of instructions v1.4 updated 6/6/13 that has a typo and specifies green solid light instead of red solid light. Highly recommend this product based on features, price, tune ability, and customer service.
