Default Help: nitrous express maximizer 4

Wiring this up on an 02 camaro. Should I be tapping all the wires from the ecu harness?

Can someone please provide some helpful links/pics.

Also when wiring this up with the lingenfelter retard system, I would connect the lingenfelter to my maximizer vs connecting the lingenfelter to my activation switch, right?

Please help,
Thanks!

nx4 has 2 wires that for each stage. what i did was tied those 2 wires together and ran it to the activation wire on the lnc box. not sure how the 2002 camaro wiring is as all ive worked with is a 2010 camaro and a 2008 vette.

The only wires you should tap of the ecu are the TPS for the WOT and the RPM for the window switch. Not sure on the lingenfelter box, but I know the maximizer has stage 1(red) wire and a stage 2 retard(brown IIRC). I think those wires can power that lingenfelter box, but I'm not sure. It's a pretty neat little setup.

^^^ That is correct, You can also tie into the VSS wire if you wanted to progress it by MPH. Also if you take the Orange wire from the LNC2000 to the Pink wire coming out of the max 4 then it will send signal to the LNC to pull timing once the progression starts.

Here is a link to the PCM pin out.

Default LNC timing retard activation

Trey,

I don't think you want them connecting to the green wire on the LNC-2000. The green wire is ground activation of the two step.

The Orange wire is timing retard activation (as shown in the original post diagram). That has to be a +12volt signal for retard activation.

I believe the NX4 outputs a +12 volt on the pink wire but someone should confirm that (I don't have those instructions handy).

Yes I do Apologize, You will want to connect it to the orange wire NOT the green sorry for the misinformation. And yes the pink wire puts out 12volts when activated.

So I will just be splicing and soldering the necessary wires on the ecu and max4?
