This is a 2 stage NX plate with E85 in the main fuel cell. I need to ramp it in a bit faster I think..
1st stage 100 hit = 100% out of the hole
2nd stage 30% initial all in by 1 second

With a single stage 175hit all in it went 1.35 on the same radials.

I feel the timing is conservative at 12* for the 300 hit.. With a single 175 hit in the first stage (no 2nd stage) 19* with a NGK-10 was spot on.

I need to address the converter and possibly the rear gear.
Power Glide, 1-2 shift at 7k pulls me down to 6,200
3.90 gear = 7,125@145.5mph. Makes peak hp NA at 6,950.

I think with some tweaking there could be a 9.0x-9.1x with this tune up. But I want to eventually put the 175 back in the first stage + the 200 in the second.

I am thinking next steps are:
1) Tighten the converter up 300-500rpm
2) Sort out current tune up
3) Up the 1st stage to 175 (total 375)
4) Gear accordingly

E85_Plate = 9.24 @ 145.2 with a soft 1.424 60'-20150817_091600_resized.jpg

Congrats on the times!

What is your afr on motor and on the jug?

=/- .82 lambda for both.

Motor passes actually slowed down a little going from the 4.56 to 3.90 gear. 10.6x NA now.. But that was a warm day. So guessing it will be more like a 10.5x on similar day to the 10.38 pass.

Did it try to spin at all? If not you've probably got more room to ramp the progressor harder. Nice job!

I agree I can put more in it out of the hole. With a 175rwhp hit + 19* timing 100% in it went 1.35 60'

I tried to replicate that hit with
100% first stage 100 rwhp
30% second stage with additional 200rwhp

My mistake though was not thinking about the loss in power the additional 7* reduction in timing would have on the initial hit. Yes 7* is probably more than I need to take out but I like to start conservatively.

I think 50-60% initial on the 2nd stage will probably get me my 60' back to the 1.35 range.

You need a Maximizer 4!! It has a signal retard built in, and you input a % of ramp for it to send a signal retard out to your timing box. That way it won't lose power in that situation. 1.35 60' is pretty decent though!

How does it interface with a factory pcm for the % based timing retard?

I didn't realize you were still running the factory PCM. That would be a little more tricky to setup, might be better off sticking with what you have. I am not sure if you could set up some kind of "tricker" system to trigger the retard.

There is a way to do it with the stock set up using the GPIO from my current controller. Only issue is it will still pull the timing the moment any % of the PWM is reached.
