Doing a little r&d today with the Daytona Sensors Smart Spark LS. Installed it in tandem with the factory ECU. Gives us timing retard, 2 Step Limiter, and Individual Cylinder Timing. No problems with initial fire up hopefully we can get it on the dyno soon.
Sure box is a carb ls1 ignition system run in parallel with the factory computer. It gives you live data on timing, map, rpm, and tps. On an efi car it controls the timing only fuel is still done by the factory ecu. The box gives you a 2 step for a trans brake, and a retard for nitrous, or you can use the second input as a burn out limiter. The really nice thing is it gives you individual cylinder timing.
