using nitrous like a turbo?
using nitrous like a turbo? ok, i am brand new to nitrous. just set up my wet plate kit will just about all the add ons, including a progressive controller. which is what got me thinking. if i ran a good size turbo that didnt start to spool up until around 3k until shift point. Could the same be done with nitrous? start progressively around 3k and ramp it up to shift point. I hope I am explaining what i am thinking correctly. basically what i am thinking is could i use nitrous like a turbo with an on/off switch? If this is the dumbest idea you have ever heard, please dont flame too much. Just thinking out loud...

You can use a progressive controller to ramp power in like boost but unless you have issues with traction or are using a bigger shot you just want the full 100 all the time.

On a 100 you should be fine without ramping it in. Even if you were to ramp it, you would want your ramp to be as short as possible. The progressive function is simply a traction aid, and most will ramp to 100% in less than a second or so. Drawing your ramp out for an extended period will interfere with your tune-up.
