Pump demand is governed by two things, total horsepower output, and fuel type.

Alky needs a considerably higher volume.

I run a single in tank 255 without a problem on my 347 it's a similar build as your 370. So a single 340 in tank and a separate standalone system you should be fine.

Single Walbro 255 intank Fuel pump is good for 650 HP. Max.

I have an LS2 404 ci. Stroker Nitrous Motor that makes around 650 HP on the Juice with a 150 Shot of Nitrous. Im not running a stand alone. The Single Walbro 255 supplies all of the Fuel for my motor & nitrous system. I am Maxed out now at 650 HP.

You could always run Dual Walbro 255's if you modify your fuel pump bucket. Make sure you run the upgraded Racetronix Fuel pump harness & relay with the 255 Walbro for safety & max fuel pump performance. Lonnie at Lonnies Performance is the Guru on Fuel systems. He is a sponser on this LS1 Tech site. http://www.lonniesperformance.com/

Stand alone Fuel system along with the Single Walbro 255 intank pump would be the way to go at 700-800 hp.

They say Low Fuel pressure supplied from stand alone works best with the nitrous system.

A stand alone will continue with a fuel pump. Usually a walbro 255 or if low pressure a Holley blue or something.

My car makes 570rwp on motor with a single walbro 255. Spray 200 on top of it with a stand alone that has a walbro 255.

I have twin walbros in the tank from when the car was procharged a long time ago. Before j bought the stand alone I had the second pump to come on when the nitrous was activated. Worked fine. But was only spraying a 150 shot. Never went lean or dropped fuel pressure.

Im on a single walboro, making 390 on the motor plus a 230 shot and i have to add a ton of pulse width at the initial hit through the ecu to keep it from going lean.

I suspect im close to the limits with the 255.
