Default 5.3 build advice

Looking to get opinions on my current setup and future plans.
Current:
Lm7 stock with rod bolts, push rods, and valve springs.
Mild cam
BBK ssi
Shorty headers
N.O. 78mm dual stage plate
NX solenoids
1gal standalone with renegade 120 nitrous fuel
All infront of a rmvb 400 and 8.8 with detroit locker and good axles.
This is in a 88 rx7

Looking to wake it up a bit this season with:
Long tubes
Prc 2.5 5.3 heads
Bigger cam

Want opinions on cam or any comment questions or concerns.
Thanks.

To get a good cam spec'd for your particular setup, get with a company such as Texas Speed or Brain Tooley Racing. Both companies are great at getting customers the cam they need!

Thanks for the response. Texas speed recommended thier ms4 cam but i was thinking that might be a little aggressive for my little 5.3.
P.s. i really like the plate and standalone fuel cell i got from you guys at nitrous outlet.

I've seen people use this cam along with larger in the 5.3 applications without a problem. If going with a custom cam design just make sure to let the person know what you plan on doing so it can be spec'd correctly.
