[VR] C7 Z06 - Stage IV + Nitrous Outlet = 836rwhp/816rwtq on a 100 Shot!!
Many of you are already familiar with our shop C7 Z06 which broke the 1,000rwhp mark utilizing our Stage IV Z06 performance package and a healthy dose of nitrous provided by our friends at Nitrous Outlet. One of our local customers recently traded in his ECS supercharged C7 that we built for him last year for a shark grey 2016 Z06 equipped with the 8-speed automatic transmission, and immediately made plans to duplicate our combination on his car!
Our Stage IV package pushes the LT4 engine to the limit while retaining the stock GM shortblock and 1.7L supercharger while still retaining excellent driveability, even with an aftermarket camshaft and stock torque converter in the transmission. This customer was no stranger to power, so our largest camshaft offering for the automatic was selected, as well as an upgrade to a dual nozzle methanol injection system, and E85 flex fuel sensor kit.

The last piece of this puzzle was a full spray bar system provided by Nitrous Outlet, as well as several supporting parts for a very safe and functional nitrous system:
After setting up the progressive controller for dyno tuning, and a full street calibration for driveability off the bottle by our in-house tuner, it was time to hit the rollers to see what we could get out of this combination through the automatic! We jetted the system lightly to a 100 shot for the customer to get used to the smaller shot before doing some on-track tuning at a later date with a full 200 shot. The results were as follows:
660rwhp / 698rwtq - Pump gas / no nitrous
705rwhp / 748rwtq - E85 / no nitrous
836rwhp / 816rwtq - Pump gas / 100 shot
To control this power, we fitted the car with a beautiful set of 19" Forgeline GA1R wheels wrapped in a set of 345/30/19 Toyo R888 tires. This is a similar combination used on our shop car, and provides excellent traction in both track and street scenarios!
