nitrous 5.3 fuel pump limit
Right now i have a 255 walbro. Corvette regulator. I have a nx nitrous setup on the car that i bought from a friend, three months in the nitrous solenoid stuck wide open and blew my intake into pieces. I will be upgrading to a nitrous outlet setup in the next couple weeks. The car n/a made 281 whp 356ftlb. I would like to spray a 200-250 shot.

I would recommend putting a racetronix hot wire kit on the pump to boost voltage to the pump and allow the pump to keep up with the demands of the nitrous system. It is really never recommended to to pull more than 200 whp of fuel off of the rail. That could cause a lean spike or lean condition and can wipe a bank out. You could run a dedicated fuel supply and put a higher octane in it (VP 110, C16 )whatever is local to you and be able to make more power with timing. At 200-250 you will also want to switch up to a colder plug NGK B8EFS gapping around .028.

With your power levels you should be fine. A racetronix 255 with a hotwire can support 600, so with a regular 255 i would say 500-550whp will be the max. We always recommend a dedicated fuel cell at 200-250hp to get rid of any possible lean spikes on the initial hit. You also get the added benefit of running higher octane fuel in the dedicated which can give you some buffer room in your tune up or allow you to get more aggressive on timing.
