Default Throttle cable linkage issue after plate install

Hey guys, just installed a plate kit on my 2000 ls1 trans am.. Now I'm having an issue with my idle due to the plate kit. I've adjusted all I can on the cable to allow the throttle body to shut somewhat. It still idles around 1900 rpm. Any ideas or tips would be greatly appreciated!

Did you use the throttle cable relocation bracket? If you did and everything is adjusted correctly, you may have a vac leak. Check all the gaskets and make sure everything is sealed tight. Another thing that can cause that would be the IAC malfunctioning. Make sure it doesn't have any damage and is hooked up correctly.
