Default Lean condition

Ok guys, here's my issue. I started off with a 125 shot and worked my way down to a 35 shot. I even ran the fuel jet a little rich with no luck. No matter what I do it goes 12.8 to 12.9 on my wideband. What gives? A 35 shot fuel jet is 16. I ran a 19 and no improvement.

950 bottle pressure.

you went from 125 shot to 35 shot with no improvement in the wideband is that what you're saying? What kit are you using?

Correct. I tried 125, 100, 75, 50, and now I'm at a 35 shot. On every shot size the wideband read the same. I played with jetting but could never get it to get into the 11.5 range.

It's a brand x kit with a nitrous outlet 90mm plate. I even tried hooking it up to a dedicated fuel cell with 58psi and no luck. Ally wiring is legit with the correct amperage wire.

Even when I pull from the rail I should have enough pump. It's a walbro 255 with a hotwire kit.

Is this only on the "hit" or is it lean throughout the entirety of the run?

It's lean throughout the run. I shortened the fuel hose also with no luck. 12" fuel, 24" nitrous.

What is your normal wot afr's? The afr's didnt change as you went down throught the jets becuase the spreads were staying the same. I'd start with the 50hp nitrous jet and the 100hp fuel jet and see where that gets you with the afr's. Adjust accordingly then, suggested jetting isnt always right on do to many factors. Using wide band and reading plugs is needed on any kit to get jetting where you want it and where you feel it should be. .

Are you sure the nitrous ever turned on? How much power does the car make on motor? Are you logging fuel pressure through a run?

493 on motor. I had a 31n/17f and it was 12.8 afr. I just tried a 23 fuel and it spiked 11.2 and settled up to 11.9-12.0 For the rest of the run. I'm fine with that but man a 23 fuel jet is fat *** he'll for a 35 nitrous shot. I just ordered a new fuel solenoid (even though this one has seen less then 2 bottles. ) brand x noid. Just thought I try that out.

Has anyone else had to run a fatter fuel jet for a given shot.

Normal I cant say for sure. What I assume is and you know what that means is there are just as many that are rich right out of the box as there is lean out of the box for the set up theyre put on. The only difference is you and some others are actually using a wideband and assuming checking plugs. The majority of people just put the jets in and if it isnt popping or blowing black smoke they run it. In my line of work its trust but verify, alway check for your self. There is a chance that something is obstructing the fuel noid, pretty easy to inspect so its worth checking.

Sometimes you can't really go off of the wide-band all the time when reading Nitrous. Every car takes it differently, I recently jetted a friends car on a 175 shot started safe off the top of my head I think I started .73n / .38f on pump 93 wide band was around 11.0 ended up going back to a .36 or .35 the car takes it well around 11.7-12.0 on wide band. But its more important to take a look at the plugs then trust the wide band in my book.

No, it is not normal. I suspect you have a fuel supply issue. Are you monitoring fuel pressure?

Being its fuel injected. Is there any chance it's self learning, and the computer is keeping it at that AFR.

No that would only apply to a dry shot bring sbring sprayed through the mass airflow sensor
