any thoughts on the old timing tuner box?
I have one but I am scared to use it so I had my tuner retard 4 degrees from the computer for a 100 shot. I would like to add the 4 degrees back and start using the timing tuner to retard my timing.
Does anyone have any experience with this box?

Are you referring to this one from full throttle I haven’t heard of people having an issue with it.

I full throttle box is a window switch and timing tuner from my understanding the LNC-2000 is a 2 step and timing tuner so it depends what you need if you have a window switch already the LNC gets you extra features at the same price point. If you don’t have a window switch the full throttle box is an option.

I'm not a fan of these little shine boxes.
If this is a 4th gen, get HP tuners, flash to a 2002 operating system, and use a relay and ground relay pins 30 and 85, and run relay pin 87 to pin R53 on the ECM, with pin 86 on the relay routing to the arm switch. (see relay #6 in diagram below)
I'm running a 150 shot so 6 degrees of timing is pulled.
