Default Timing and plugs for 400 shot.

Car has a 408 with 12.5:1 compression and trick flow 245 heads. hydraulic nitrous cam 251/266 .632/.595 112+4. super victor and 4150. stock computer using LNC2000 box to pull timing.

What kind of timing numbers are you guys running on a 400 shot. what's your base number and what are you pulling it down to? I have the LNC2000 box and it can only pull 15. my base is at 26 and I pulled 14 on 325shot. I'm worried I need to pull more than 15 and will have to start playing with base timing. also I run b9efs plugs for the 325. what plugs for a 400 shot? also what fuel are you guys running? I run 110 in the tank and I play it safe with a stand alone cell dedicated for the nitrous that adds C23 when the kit is on.

We spray 400+ but I dont recommend getting plug and timing advice on that amount of nitrous off a forum. We very rarely post timing or air/fuel advice for larger shot because people will read it and then just start there and not actually try to tune their own setup and probably hurt the motor. Not saying you would do that, just in general.

Default Autolite "X" gap

Hi MWJ, I have more knowledge with respect to NO2 and Air Boat Racing, world records, reports from David Hartz, Water Thunder, with my ECU and coils.

Sure I know the Spark Instant he uses though as stated by LSX PT, engine setups are different.

I WOULD fit a set of Autolite 3922x Racing Spark plugs.

AS for your "fast" report, I would guess the Dave's "air" boat would beat you in the 60' distance BOTH of you on the ASHFELT.

Default AIR Boat 60' Speed

Hi ALL, MY GUESS is that those who doubt HAVE NEVER SAT in an AIR Boat powered with a LS engine.

The WET WEIGHT, two passengers, IS UNDER 1000 .lbs with NOS HP at 800+.

THIS is a power/weight ratio GREATER than a F-1 Car !

MANY HERE can't SPELL or do MATH.

THUS the Power/Weight Ratio is 1.25.

WHO HERE can MATCH that !

The timing mark right near the bend. I didn't want to put anymore timing in because every degree I added it picked up 1 mph and the last time it picked up nothing so I backed it back down 1. fuel still needed to be cleaned up slightly. car went 9.04@151. with a 1.34 60ft spinning. I was hoping to to slap new slicks on and go 8.80 right off the bat but it never happened weather didn't cooperate last fall. decided to just spray it more and buy new slicks for this season lol.
