Plugs look like they have seen alot of run time. Look kinda old! No way to read the plug with tht set. Install a fresh set and pull 1 or 2 and check

I went 10.5 stock weight on a 150 shot, BTR III, and milled 241's (SOM in sig) on 93 oct.
T/A runs 9.90 on a 150 @ 19* timing (50:50 mix 93/110).
Every car is different. We just start conservative on timing and bump it up until MPH shows no improvement.
Not judging, just curious on how your motor is still alive at 28*

19* peak to the stripe. Crossing at 6700. This is where this particular engine is happy.
Stock compression?
SBE iron 6.0 w/LQ4 pistons, L92 heads milled .025 (~ 10.1:1).
Currently building a 14:1 398" and gonna run it on C16...so everything will change.
