1.3 is pretty efficient. At what rpm are you seeing that efficiency, what does it flash to and what is the shift extension on motor?

passing the traps @ 5900 rpm is bout 1.3 percent. flash is around 4800 2 step is set to 4500 and i get bout roughly 1300 shift drop... its true stall on the trans brake is around 4900/5000 roughly
im going to be putting in a stewart Warner shift light/tach to get a more accurate rpm reading.on my next track day. i just swapped in this converter cuz the previous 1 wasnt performing at all. these are aproximate numbers BTW

I really should log the run to get u more accurate readings . im just looking for ballpark of what size shot to start off with

1.3 at 5900 with a 4800 flash hot damn, I'd like to have that. Seems to couple up real quick so depending on what you want for extension to be you might have to spray quite a bit. I'd guess it will take a 200 shot to get extensions around 1000 rpm. If you had the ability to log your runs it really is nice. It lets you know exactly what's going on, in my case a lot of slipping but yours is just the opposite. Mine foot braking flashes to 45-4700 when I start rolling and at the stripe at 6991rpm I'm at 90 percent efficient on motor alone.
