LNC 2000 and Trick Controller wiring
How do I need to wire this in so the launch control of the LNC is functional, and the timing is only pulled when the nitrous is active?
I'm fine with running it off the clutch switch or a button, and am open to suggestions/experience in which is better.
Thanks
On yours, you'd substitute the "TransBrake Push Button", with either your clutch switch, or a button.
Obviously, a clutch switch, would enable "2 step/launch control" at every push of the clutch pedal, whereas a button would do so, only when you wanted it to engage.
I recall some people use some sort of interrupter to "turn off" the 2 step function after launch, but no experience with it, since I run automatic...
Wired like this diagram, even if your nitrous kit is ARMED, your 2 step can/will work anytime you want it to, but the launch control function, if ENGAGED, will DISENGAGE nitrous and nitrous retard.
If launch control is "turned off", but nitrous arming switch is on, nitrous solenoids will open/spray whenever WOT switch circuit is closed...aka whenever you are WIDE OPEN THROTTLE.
Likewise, if NITROUS arming switch is turned OFF, the launch control (2 step) still works exactly as it should...
So, you can run one or the other...neither, or both...
I have since installed a Nitrous Express Maximizer EZ Progressive Controller (a 5 second modification as it simply plugs in) in place of the 2nd relay (bottom one in diagram), and it too, works great with this wiring setup.
