Detonation all of the sudden
nitrous tune. Everything went fine at the dyno, 563whp on the jug, Ran a few times it seemed ok, 57n 35f through a plate. 450lph pump, 1200cc injectors.
Fast Forward to 2 days ago I went to do some test hits on nitrous and there’s a noise like marbles in a can which tuner told me it’s def Detonation, I even tried to use a smaller size nitrous jet 52n leaving the 35f in there and still detonating when I stab it. What could it be the issue..??
Would that be the first time you spray on the street ?
Do you know how many degrees of timing your on while on spray ?
You def need you be checking plugs on spray.
box went bad, I’ll prob go down to a 50 since that small of a shot shouldn’t really have an effect and see if stops det..

i do
just spraying fuel, the afr’s only went from 12.5 afr’s (that’s the norm for N/A) to like 11.2-10.6. I would think with a 35f jet the widenand would be reading way over rich. So maybe just
maybe the fuel noid doesn’t like E85 and had enough???? Same solenoid was used for 2 years on 93 octane with no issues...
both noids are ColdFusion brands

2)pull every plug to examine if it’s detonation or pre ignition
3) if they look fineTry that 50 shot and see if detonation happens again.
4) I’d think those a/f are rich.
