i think the engine will peak @ ~6800rpm - so I will need to spin to 7k but I will not let it go over 7500.
Havent yet bought but plan on:
3500-4000k torque converter, 4.56 gears, 25-37 inch tires. This is a mud truck that I’m trying to skim the top, rather than dig to the bottom.
I think I want to run 2 stages of 150. I only plan to compete a couple of times per year, and I don’t really want a 300 shot on the street. My plan would be to simply not use the second stage outside of competition. Alternatively I could change jets/tune the couple times of year I want to race. I thought the 2 stages might be easier in the long run. From everything I’ve read here at ls1tech I think I need a direct port setup to spray 300. I plan to use a standalone fuel setup with Race fuel.
1) is there a better way to accomplish what I want to do with the nitrous?
2) spark plugs. I understand I need colder plugs. I haven’t figured out how much colder. One thing I question is if I go cold enough for a 300 shot, won’t I be too cold for n/a driving? I wouldn’t be opposed to changing for the Big shot if needed. Build my understanding of how that works.
Picture just for fun
For the fuel setup, racetronix or ws6store has what you need.
