1st 10 second run on a 100 shot
Weather up here has been hot, humid, DA has been 4000+ for the last 2-3 races.
On just a 100 shot, DA @+4300. 3 quicky's on Saturday: 10.92, 10.90, 10.99 - all 3 were 123+mph. Left off the trans-brake/2-step combined at 3800rmps.
Sunday I decided to leave the nitrous on. Again 100 shot. DA already at 4000+. First run: 11.00 at 127.095; 2n: 11.05 at 127.111; 3rd: 10.90 at 124.135. So I dialed a 10.92. All the 60's up to now have been 1.51-1.53. Red-lite yet again. So I finished off the run any way. Here is the break-down:
Reaction: -.068
60': 1.458
300': 4.435
1/8: 6.900 at 99.333mph
1.4: 10.850 at 124.072
Heads/cam - stock bottom-end. On only a 100 shot Even though I got beat (or I beat myself), the "old time" racers at track could not believe that my car just ran those times. Total of 7 runs, all between 10.85-11.05.

That's a long time to be down, but your set-up will be well worth it.
Have you thought about going down to the Thunder Racing Shootout as a spectator?
A friend and I are more than likely headed down. Bracket racing - but it should be worth it just to meet some of the guys on the board - well and to see what the SS will run on a good track, at sea-level and in good air.

Next year I plan on doing some traveling with the SS to a couple of races (besides hitting the local tracks). I was planning on going to the World Street Finals in Orlando come October to watch. The Thunder Shootout is on my list for next year, WITH MY CAR!!
Going to a modern muscle event without my Camaro would be the equivalent to going to a whorehouse with $10,000 in my pocket.....and leaving my johnson at home. Not gonna happen!!
