Need some input on a build I’m doing. Currently have 6.0 block, k1 4.125 crank, k1 rods, wiseco pistons, 823 ported heads, td rockers, btr 660 springs, and haven’t decided on cam yet. Will have a edelbrock super victor 4500 intake with a fogger system and haven’t decided on carb yet. Will be going in a all glass/all steel stock suspension mustang on 275 radial with 1.69 power glide behind it, 8.8 rear and 4.10 rear gear. Goal is to run low 5s 1/8 mile but will be grudging the car. Will this setup get me there? Any input would be great.

I have someone local to me with almost identical set-ups and is in the 5.40-5.30 range on a 250 shot. It is definitely possible but this guys car is around 2800 with him in it.. not sure how light you could get your chassis but it will help. As for a carb hes got a custom 1000cfm prosystems. Would also like to mention if your going max effort with what you have id highly suggest a custom converter. That paired with the correct carb/cam will make the biggest difference.
