Default those that tune to retard timing as RPMs increase-need some input plz

currently helping a local friend setup his ls1 tune to run nitrous. he would like to start at 20* at the bottom of the RPM range and as the RPM increases, the timing decreases/tapers down to 15* by the top of 6000rpms. we did a run and logged the process on just motor to see if i was able to get it to taper the timing but having difficulty as the timing stays consistant at 20* but i noticed the cyl airmass below 0.50 was still commanding 20* at top of 6000RPMs, whereas i originally saw the cyl airmass in prior runs hit 0.70 for example.

does anyone have a sample screenshot to share of how they have their timing decrease as the RPM increases for reference by chance please?

I'm a little confused on what exactly you are asking.

You are commanding 20 degrees and it's not doing it or what?

Post a log/tune if you can.
