Don’t know a lot about nitrous looking to do a 100–1 50 shot but only for the track is there a way I can only switch it on when I’m at the track and how would I switch tunes for it

 

Yes, most systems come with an arming switch to send power to everything when wanting to use the system. Other than having HP tuners to switch tunes you might look at the LNC-2000 as it will allow full timing n/a. Then when the system is armed it will allow for timing to be pulled.

 

Holley makes a nitrous controller that can change timing when activated.

Lots of ways to go about adding nitrous to an ls1. All will require you to pull timing in one way or another. You will need to add fuel as well . Nitrous outlet makes some very nice setups for ls cars . I have their 92mm plate system mounted to a fast intake manifold. My setup is ran through a controller to spray through a given rpm range when I'm over 90% throttle. It also automatically shuts off if nitrous or fuel pressure drops. Timing is controlled through hp tuners and fuel is provided by a stand alone fuel tank setup under the hood in the factory battery location. My setup is somewhat complex but was pretty easy to setup. You can go incredibly simple too and have a simple button activated dry nitrous setup .
